Anik joined Innovapost in May 2017. As well as being our CEO, Anik is also Chief Information and Technology Officer for Canada Post Corporation and its Group of Companies.
In these roles, she is responsible for providing vision, strategic direction and leadership for the development, integration and implementation of the digital capabilities required to create competitive advantage for Canada Post and the Group of Companies, which also includes Purolator and SCI Group.
Anik is an accomplished IT executive with broad industry experience. She joined Canada Post from Lorange Leclair & Compagnie, a strategic consulting company in IT management, partnership development and program management for business and IT transformations, where she was co-owner and senior partner. In that role, Anik provided consulting services to Innovapost and delivered successful mandates for large, complex organizations including Bombardier, Desjardins Group, the Business Development Bank of Canada, Ivanhoé Cambridge, and CAE. Prior to Lorange Leclair, she held significant IT leadership roles with National Bank Financial, SunGard Data Systems and the Department of National Defence.
Anik is bilingual and holds a Bachelor of Science from the Université du Québec à Rimouski and an Executive MBA from the Université du Québec à Montréal. She lives in Ottawa with her husband and has four children.
Aaron Nichols is responsible for IT Service Management (ITSM) for Canada Post and the Group of Companies. Aaron has more than 17 years of senior management experience at Canada Post and Innovapost. Prior to joining Innovapost in 2012, Aaron was General Manager, Enterprise Information Management at Canada Post Corporation, where he was responsible for an IT stay-back team engaged in providing management and oversight to an outsourced IT Service delivery model. Aaron sponsored and delivered many large scale programs to modernize Canada Post’s technology infrastructure and systems.
Since joining Innovapost in 2012, Aaron has had progressively increasing responsibilities in the areas of IT Security, Governance, Compliance, IT Service Management and Application Support. Aaron has 30 years of experience with the Canada Post Group of Companies including roles at Purolator Courier, Canada Post, and Innovapost.
Aaron holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Queen’s University.
Chris Snyder is Enterprise Architecture Lead at Innovapost. In this role, Chris is responsible for IT Strategy and the creation of roadmaps for our major application platforms and infrastructure components. Within this role, Chris works with all members of the Canada Post Group of Companies.
Prior to assuming his current position in April 2018, Chris served as the Director of Enterprise Architecture at both Innovapost and Canada Post over a 10 year period. As a leader in the Enterprise Architecture group, Chris was primarily responsible for the technical solutions being implemented at Canada Post. This role included the delivery of a number of Enterprise Solutions that are currently used by all members of the Group of Companies. In addition, Chris served as the integration lead for the Canada Post Postal Transformation program.
Before joining the Canada Post Group of Companies, Chris spent 10 years at Accenture. As an IT consultant at Accenture, he worked on projects for Canada Post, the US Postal Service, and other Canadian Government clients. Over his final few years at Accenture, Chris worked as a Senior Solutions Integration Architect and Project Lead on a series of transformational programs at Canada Post.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Ottawa.
As Project Portfolio Management Lead, Dan is responsible for providing the enterprise view of current and future projects, project prioritization, capacity management, and resource planning to ensure that Innovapost works on the right projects. Dan is also responsible for the IT Project Management Office (IT PMO) where he ensures that the company is executing the projects right, following methodologies, sharing best practices, and embracing innovation on an ongoing basis.
Dan brings over 15 years of experience in large scale application development programs and complex technical upgrades leveraging different delivery methodologies. Prior to joining Innovapost in 2004, Dan was a Senior Manager with Ernst & Young Consulting where he delivered successful projects for large, complex organizations including Telefònica de España (Telecommunications), Telefônica Shared Services (Services), Companhia Vale do Rio Doce (Mining) and Siemens (Manufacturing and Technology).
Dan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Information Systems (Valedictorian) from Paulista University in São Paulo, and is Project Management Professional (PMP) certified. He lives in Ottawa with his wife and has two children.
Éric Maheux is the lead for the Security, Security Operations, and Identity & Access Management Centre of Expertise at Innovapost. In this role, Éric is responsible for deploying security controls to support business needs while minimizing risk. Focused on a risk-based approach, the Security Centre of Expertise works to enable security for the evolving needs of the Canada Post Group of Companies.
Éric brings over 12 years of security, compliance, and internal control activity experience to Innovapost. Before joining Innovapost in 2012, Éric accumulated 14 years of IT and management experience at Canada Post where he held roles in its National Control Centre and Enterprise Information Management organizations developing their SAP Access Management, IT security & compliance programs.
Éric is bilingual and holds an Advertising & Marketing Communications Management diploma.
As Business Solution Delivery Lead – Canada Post Corporation Chief Commercial Officer, and Business Solution Delivery Lead – Canada Post Corporation Chief Operating Officer, Franco is responsible for end-to-end Solution Delivery in support of Canada Post’s Commercial Organization including Digital, Product, Retail, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience. He also leads the Business Solutions Delivery organization at Innovapost that provides reliable and high-performing IT solutions to the Operations team at Canada Post.
Franco brings over 20 years of experience managing teams of technology and business professionals to deliver large-scale software development and business process transformations. He has also led numerous enterprise transformational initiatives to realize revenue recovery, operating efficiencies, and cost reductions.
Prior to joining Innovapost, Franco was a Director with Canada Post where he led a variety of system and business initiatives specializing in induction and revenue assurance.
Franco holds a Master of Business Administration in Innovation from the University of Fredericton and a Bachelor of Business Administration, Management from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax. He also holds a Project Management designation and is Agile Certified.
Franco lives in Toronto with his wife and 2 sons.
As Business Solution Delivery Lead – Canada Post Corporation Strategy and Data, and Chief Information Technology Officer, David is responsible for the delivery of effective and efficient services, solutions, and activities for the Canada Post Group of Companies. David brings over 22 years of experience managing teams of technology and business professionals to deliver large-scale programs and solutions. Throughout his career at Innovapost, he has led numerous enterprise transformational initiatives to realize operating efficiencies, cost reductions, and customer satisfaction enhancements.
Prior to joining Innovapost, David was a successful entrepreneur and worked as an IT consultant and employee for several private and public sector organizations to deliver large scale and strategic infrastructure programs.
David is a passionate volunteer in the community for kids’ sports and previously volunteered with law enforcement for over 15 years. He holds a Degree from the University of Ottawa in Economics and has since studied at both the University of Ottawa and Queen’s School of Business.
As Lead, Information Technology Administrative Shared Services, David is responsible for the visioning, creation, and operation of the key support functions that enable organizational excellence at Innovapost. This encompasses Human Resources, Finance, Change Management and Communications, Facilities Management, and Administrative Support.
Prior to joining Innovapost in 2002, David was General Manager, Business Development Finance at Canada Post Corporation. He has extensive experience in the financial support and assessment of new ventures, business planning and business case development, product development and management, and customer sales contracts.
David holds a Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science from Queen’s University.
Christopher Ashwood is Talent and Transformation Lead at Innovapost. In this role, Chris leads our Human Resources, Communications, and Change Management activities.
Before joining Innovapost, Chris was the principal consultant and founder of the strategic business consulting firm SBL 180 Inc. He also held the role of Senior Vice President, Corporate Services at Nordion, where he served as Chief Human Resources Officer and CIO and worked closely with the Board on matters of strategy, executive compensation, succession, and governance. Chris also held a number of leadership positions at Nortel, including Vice-President Product Development Solutions, Vice-President Global Business Processes, and Director, Corporate Services.
Chris has served on the boards of the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Foundation and the Ottawa Centre for Research and Innovation (OCRI). He holds an MBA from the University of Ottawa, a BA from Carleton University, and is a graduate of the ICD Directors Education Program.
As Business Solution Delivery Lead for Enablers, John is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of back office solutions for Canada Post. In his leadership role, John ensures that Canada Post’s business values are realized through quality and innovative technology solutions. John brings over 25 years of experience in large scale application development programs, data centre transitions, and complex technical upgrades leveraging different delivery methodologies.
Prior to joining Innovapost in 2003, John held various technology management positions at Nortel and engaged in a wide range of major software development projects at Canada Post as an employee and independent consultant with NCR Canada Ltd., DMR Group Inc., and Andersen Consulting.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science (Honours) from Queen’s University and is Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
Jim Bezanson is responsible for End User Computing for the Canada Post Group of Companies. In this new role, Jim is accountable for end-to-end service delivery of End User Computing services. The team is the face of IT where we focus on the end user experience, act as the primary end user point of contact, and continually seek ways to improve the service. We work with our partners and industry leaders to adapt new technologies with a focus on moving to a digital work place.
In addition to the End User Computing role, Jim’s team will also act as the client liaison to SCI with a focus on meeting commitments for EUC services, assisting to deliver new services for SCI, and evaluating reciprocal business models within the Canada Post Group of Companies.
Jim brings to his role over 30 years of IT experience, including 12 years of management experience from Canada Post and Innovapost. Prior to joining Innovapost in 2012, Jim was Infrastructure Director, Enterprise Information Management at Canada Post Corporation, where he was responsible for providing management and oversight to an outsourced IT Service delivery model. Jim delivered many large scale programs to modernize Canada Post’s technology infrastructure and systems. Prior to joining the Group of Companies, Jim led a large team of employees and outsourced vendors to deliver IT shared services to more than 40 government departments.
In his role as Quality Assurance Centre of Expertise Lead, Nish is responsible for the Quality Assurance strategy, standards, and guidelines for IT initiatives at the Canada Post Group of Companies. Nish brings over 20 years of experience in managing large scale application development programs, leading digital and agile transformations, and implementing business improvement practices.
Nish has been with Innovapost since 2008 and has held increasingly senior leadership positions. Prior to joining Innovapost, Nish worked with Dell Canada and held senior management positions with reputed international organizations.
Nish holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree and Master of Business Administration Degree from S P University, India.
In his role as Architecture Centre of Expertise Lead at Innovapost, Paul is responsible for Solution Architecture, including: architectural standards, methodologies, and oversight of enterprise-wide solutions. Paul is also responsible for major technology decisions and cohesive architectures that enable strategic projects.
Paul is a seasoned veteran with over 20 years in the technology industry. He has a breadth of experience in IT and software architectures, software development and product management. Prior to joining Innovapost in 2009, Paul held VP and Director Roles in a succession of start-ups: OnCore Systems, Appzero (formerly Trigence) and Liquid Computing. At both OnCore and Appzero, Paul built development teams from scratch and successfully delivered first generation products. Prior to that, Paul held senior management roles at Nortel Networks in development and engineering for leading edge products in wireless, optical, and networking.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manitoba and a Master of Applied Science degree from the University of Toronto.
Ricardo is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of IT solutions and services for Purolator.
With 20 years of experience, Ricardo is a business-focused IT leader who has helped transform organizations through the use of technology to enable business growth, while improving operational and supply chain efficiencies and mitigating IT risks. Prior to joining the Group of Companies, Ricardo was the CIO, Weston Foods. In this role, Ricardo established and led a team responsible for IT operations and innovation across all business units for the organization. Ricardo brings experience in supporting complex, North American-wide distribution and delivery networks, large-scale technology project leadership and experience working through an IT shared-service model.
Ricardo holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from Universidade de Brasilia.
In his role as Lead of IT Infrastructure and Operations at Innovapost, Scott is responsible for production support and management, infrastructure engineering, cloud services, network and telecommunications, operational security and data center management.
Scott brings over 25 years of architecture, systems integration, and business management experience to Innovapost. Prior to joining Innovapost, Scott was a co-founder and Director of Business Development at AppZero (formerly Trigence Corp). Scott also worked with Andersen Consulting and held increasingly senior technology positions at Nortel, including five years with the Spectrum Base/Operating System team.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction from McGill University.
In his role as the Development Practices and Innovation Centre Lead at Innovapost, Yves oversees all aspects of application development and architecture including the DevOps team that helps Innovapost support the delivery of solutions to the Group of Companies.
Yves brings over 20 years of experience delivering complex e-commerce solutions to a wide range of Fortune 500 companies throughout the United States and Canada. Yves started his career-long passion for development as an OS/2 programmer at SHL Systemhouse in 1993 writing software to help Purolator adopt parcel manifest imaging and data automation. He subsequently left Canada to pursue a career in the United States supporting large-scale e-commerce adoption in financial services, health care, government, telecom, and technology. Yves joined Innovapost in 2013 following a 4-year tenure as an executive consultant working for CGI.
Yves is college-educated and holds diplomas in the fields of Computer Programmer Analyst and Micro-Computer Management.
