Mr. Turgeon joined Innovapost in April 2012. As well as being our CEO, André is also Chief Information and Technology Officer for Canada Post Corporation and its Group of Companies. André brings more than 20 years of senior management experience with Pitney Bowes and IBM to his position. André sits on the Board of Directors for Purolator Inc., and SCI Logistics, both subsidiaries of the Canada Post Corporation.
Prior to joining The Group, André was most recently Vice-President and General Manager, Operations at Pitney Bowes Canada, where he merged several independent functions (information technology, integrated supply chain, customer service and program delivery) into one integrated operations organization, improving customer experience while reducing costs. He was then asked to lead the team tasked with re-engineering global business processes.
In nearly 15 years at IBM Canada, André held increasingly responsible positions. Most recently, he was the senior leader and executive for the integrated supply chain organization. Prior to that, he headed the Complex Opportunity Business Unit and led the personal computing division to record growth in sales and profit. He also developed IBM’s direct marketing and sales call centres, after being the executive in charge of information technology management within IBM Canada.
André earned a Bachelor of Computer Sciences from the University of Ottawa and is a graduate of the Graduate Business Management Program offered by IBM and Pace University, New York.
As Chief Operating Officer for Innovapost, Andrew Hartvich is responsible for ensuring Innovapost meets our delivery excellence commitment to our Group clients, while realizing the full potential of our mandate as the Group’s shared services provider. Andrew has extensive leadership experience in information technology management consulting, with a history of establishing and maintaining long term, successful client partnerships.
Prior to joining Innovapost in 2003, Andrew was a partner with Accenture’s Global Postal Industry Group, working in the Washington, D.C. practice. Andrew led Accenture’s Supply Chain offerings to postal clients worldwide and was focused on serving the United States Postal Service.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University.
Aaron Nichols is responsible for Application Management, Service Management, Governance and IT Security and Compliance for Canada Post and the Group of Companies.
Aaron brings to his role over 17 years of senior management experience from Canada Post. Prior to joining Innovapost in 2012, Aaron was General Manager, Enterprise Information Management at Canada Post Corporation, where he was responsible for an IT Stay-Back team engaged in providing management and oversight to an out-sourced IT Service delivery model. Aaron sponsored and delivered many large scale programs to modernize Canada Post’s technology infrastructure and systems. Aaron has 28 years of experience with the Canada Post Group of Companies including roles at Purolator Courier and Canada Post.
Aaron holds a Masters of Business Administration from Queens University.
As Senior Vice President, Administration and Chief Financial Officer, David Clark is responsible for Innovapost’s Corporate Enablers organization. This group includes Finance, Procurement, Human Resources, Communications and Administration.
Prior to joining Innovapost in 2002, David was General Manager, Business Development Finance at Canada Post Corporation. He has extensive experience in the financial support and assessment of new ventures, business planning and business case development, product development and management and customer sales contracts.
David holds a Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science from Queen’s University.
In his role as Vice President of Application Development, Gabriel is responsible for the delivery of effective and efficient development activities for the Canada Post Group of Companies, with a particular focus on Purolator. Gabriel brings over 20 years of experience managing teams of technology and business professionals to deliver large-scale software development, systems integration and e-business solutions. He has also led numerous enterprise transformational initiatives to realize operating efficiencies, cost reduction and customer satisfaction enhancements.
Prior to joining Innovapost, Gabriel was most recently an IT Executive at Teranet and previously an Associate Vice President at Canadian Tire, where he led a team of 200 technology and business professionals to deliver new business capabilities and drive revenue. Gabriel has also held senior program and project management roles at HBC, Celestica, IBM and Intel.
Gabriel holds a Degree in Strategic Management of Information Systems from Dublin City University, Ireland.
As Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Glain Webber leads Innovapost’s Infrastructure organization and oversees Transformation, Delivery and Operations functions for Networks, Data Centres and End User Computing. As Innovapost’s CIO, Glain is a member of the Group of Companies CIO Council, which provides oversight on IT transformation and IT governance for the Group of Companies.
Prior to joining Innovapost in 2002, Glain accumulated over 20 years of IT experience with Bell Canada, CGI and Nortel Networks.
Glain holds a Masters of Business Administration from Ottawa University and a Bachelor of Computer Science from Carleton University.
In his role as Vice President of Application Development, John is responsible for the delivery of effective and efficient development activities for the Canada Post Group of Companies, with a particular focus on Canada Post. John brings over 20 years of large program and project delivery experience in the areas of application development, data centre application migration, server virtualization, disaster recovery, complex technical upgrades and emerging application architecture and delivery methodology standards. In his previous role as Director of Application Development, John was responsible for designing and implementing Innovapost’s Development Centre of Excellence.
Prior to joining Innovapost in 2003, John held various technology management positions at Nortel and engaged in a wide range of major software development projects at Canada Post as an employee and independent consultant with NCR Canada Ltd., DMR Group Inc. and Andersen Consulting.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science (Honours) from Queen’s University and is Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.
As Vice President, Human Resources and Communications, Laura’s commitments include stewardship of the Innovapost Way, the Innovapost Brand, employee engagement and our people practices. Laura is responsible for ensuring that HR is an effective, valued function and a true enabler of the business. She is also responsible for ensuring employees are provided with the information they need to make effective and efficient business decisions within the context of the company’s overall business objectives.
Laura has over 20 years of experience on the people side of technology. From her start as a Change Management practitioner at Accenture, working with clients on large scale technology changes, to her work in training and organizational effectiveness at Nortel Networks, Laura’s primary focus has always been enabling people to be successful in a technological world.
Laura holds a Bachelor of Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an Advance Program Certificate in Human Resources Management from Rotman School of Business, University of Toronto.
In his role as Vice President of Architecture and Technology at Innovapost, Scott is responsible for Enterprise Architecture, including: solution, data, application and technical architecture. Scott is also responsible for making major technology decisions and delivering large complex technical projects.
Scott brings over 20 years of technical architecture, hardware and software integration and business management experience to Innovapost. Prior to joining Innovapost, Scott was a co-founder and Director of Business Development at AppZero (formerly Trigence Corp), prior to which he was with Andersen Consulting and later held increasingly senior technology positions at Nortel, including five years with the Spectrum Base/Operating System team.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction from McGill University.
