Members of Parliament and Senators Walk For Wishes on Parliament Hill
2010/05/3 - Ottawa, OntarioOn Tuesday, May 4, Members of Parliament and Senators will join Make-A-Wish® Families and volunteers to walk one loop of Parliament Hill to show support for children facing life threatening medical conditions.
- Event gets underway on the steps of Center Block, 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 4
- Over 20 Members of Parliament and Senators will be participating
- 6 Wish Families from the Eastern Ontario Chapter of Make-A-Wish® will also participate
Dr. Kirsty Duncan, Member of Parliament for the riding of Etobicoke North, organized the event to help raise awareness for the Innovapost ‘Share the Power of a Wish Walk/Run’ to be held on May 8, 2010 at Ottawa City Hall.
